Not only do the chinese have higher overall test scores, but now there is a new development. China seems to be leading in overall money paid into for clean energy sources. This article talks about how China has surpassed our amount by over 15 million dollars.Although the United States still leads the world in research and development of renewable energy technology, it has fallen behind in manufacturing. Without budgeting enough money towards future energy sources, we might run out of them for our country
Reflection:
This is crazy. We need to step our game up as a nation and stop to losing to the chinese in every thing. Theyre not that good. If we stop spending our money on stupid things like space research and helping every other country out, maybe we can become a successful country and have enough money for our future. Just a thought

ReplyDeleteI agree with Mark. Although we lead in research we wont get anywhere if we don't have the money to manufacture. We need to be putting the majority of our money in future renewable resources. I don't think things like space research are stupid, I just think that right now we should not be putting most of our money in that particular field. Renewable resources are the future right now because the non renewable ones we have right now will be over in the blink of an eye. We wont get anywhere if other countries are beating us and that is why we have to step up our game.
Question 2. I think the Chinese are beating us because of one thing and that is education. If you look at their system of education, it is much more difficult than ours, and the curriculum is much more difficult. The main are where we should step up our game is our education.
I agree with Marc. This is crazy. Maybe one of the reasons China is doing better is because they have a huge population. They have alot more people to choose from since they have a larger population. They also probably need renewable sources to support their whole population.
ReplyDeleteQuestion 3- If i had to pick between the two i would definatley pick the US because china has a terrible goverment and they people do not have as much freedom as US citizens. I aslo would not want to learn their language.
I agree. I feel that we really do need to step up our game. China isnt the best and we should stop coming in second, and start leading the nation. They may have renewable resources but so do we and we need to start using them and stop using coal and crude oil.

Question 1: We just need to put more money into our economy and buy from more americans, although it may be more expensive at first in the long run it will pay off.
